How Keśa Helps
Most weight-loss hair loss starts as telogen effluvium (shedding caused by stress on the body). Rapid weight loss can trigger:
- Calorie and protein deficits
- Increased cortisol (stress hormone)
- Drops in estrogen (especially in women)
All of that can shift the hormone balance toward androgens, making your follicles more sensitive to DHT — even if your DHT levels weren’t “high” before. So while the trigger is weight loss, DHT becomes the accelerator.
Keśa Hair Oil (120 mL/4 oz) is meant to be a Pre-Wash Treatment for your hair, meaning you should put it on at least an hour before shampooing to get all of its benefits.
